Charlene F. Janzen
Obituary
Charlene F. Janzen, 77, died on Thursday (Dec. 15, 2011) at
Asbury Park in Newton. She was born on May 2, 1934, in Newton to Noah and
Elizabeth (Miltz) Myers. On Sept. 16, 1956, she married Richard Janzen in
Newton. He survives of the home. Charlene was a member of Immanuel Baptist
Church and attended Newton Bible Church. She was a homemaker, and loving wife
and mother. Charlene is survived by her husband, Richard of the home; son,
David and his wife, Lynette of Hesston; daughter, Sharon and her husband, the
Rev. Dale Plummer of Roswell, N.M.; sister-in-law, Dene Myers of Wichita;
grandsons, Travis, Clint and Chad Janzen of Hesston, and Thomas Plummer of
Emporia; and granddaughter, Kensey Plummer of Roswell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother,
Charles Myers.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen
Funeral Home in Newton, with the family receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Newton Bible
Church, with Pastor Matthew Kruse presiding.

Church, in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
