Larry William Sills, 56, of Olathe died on Dec. 9, 2011, at Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care. He was a software engineer. He was born on Feb. 3, 1955, in Newton to John and Vera Sills. He attended Newton High School, graduating in 1973, and Wichita State University, graduating in 1982. He married Nyla Sills on May 22, 1982. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He is survived by wife, Nyla Sills of Olathe; son, Brett Sills of Olathe; daughter, Kelsey Sills of Olathe; parents, John and Vera Sills of Newton; and sister, Sheila Williams of Newton.
