Sherry V. Anspaugh
Obituary
Sherry V. Anspaugh, 67, of Newton, died at her home on
Saturday (Dec. 17, 2011). She was born on Feb. 15, 1944, in Roswell, N.M., the
daughter of Phil and Lawida Finkenbinder Ramsey. Sherry lived in the Russell
County area for many years. She worked for Graves Truck Line in Salina. Sherry
was a waitress for many years in the Salina area; among the restaurants she
worked at was Russells Restaurant. Sherry and Gerold moved to Newton 12 years
ago, and she enjoyed being a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Gerold Anspaugh of the home;
son, Tony VanPelt and his wife, Tyla of Wichita; daughter, Gerri Lankton of
Denton, Texas; five grandchildren; and two lifelong friends, Sue Stout and
Raylene Lane.
There will be no visitation or viewing as cremation has been
effected.
Private family services will be conducted.
