Russell Monroe Hiebert, 67, died on Monday (Dec. 26, 2011) at Salina Regional Health Center. He was born on Dec. 1, 1944, in Newton to D. Monroe and Evangeline Frey Hiebert. He was a financial adviser. He married Marcia J. Krehbiel on March 25, 1967, in Moundridge. Survivors include his wife, Marcia of McPherson; daughters, Lesli (Anthony) Earlston of Flower Mound, Texas, Lori (Brian) Doherty of Lewisville, Texas, and Angela (Paul) Armenta of Olathe; sister, Krystine Hiebert of North Newton; father-in-law, Reuben Krehbiel of Moundridge; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Moundridge Funeral Home. Committal services will be at 10:15 a.m. Friday in the Eden Mennonite Church cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in the church.

Memorial donations are suggested to Mennonite Central Committee or Heifer International, in care of the funeral home.
