David S. Krehbiel
DEERCREEK, Okla. -- A longtime Deercreek, Okla., area farmer, David S. Krehbiel, 90, died Monday (April 16, 1984) at Bethel Deaconess Hospital in Newton. He had been a resident of Schowalter Villa in Hesston since 1981.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Deercreek Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Robert Coon officiating. Burial will be in Bayard Cemetery at Deercreek.
He was born Jan. 29, 1894 in Moundridge. He was married to Elsie Schroeder, who preceded him in death in 1982. He was a member of the Deercreek Mennonite Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Velma Jean Balzer of Inman; one son, Marlin, of Lakin; one brother, Ernest, of Moundridge; three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Ruth, Mrs. Selma Reusser and Mrs. Prisca Bachman, all of Hesston; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hamilton-Porter Deercreek Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the church or Schowalter Villa.
