Wilma Jean Motter
Wilma Jean Motter, 81, died Wednesday (July 28, 2010) at
Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
Wilma was born on March 1, 1929, to Fred and Mary (Ingold)
Mosiman in Newton. They preceded her in death.
She married Blaine Motter on June 11, 1948, in Elbing, and
he survives of the home.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in
Newton. Blaine and Wilma relocated to Topeka in 2007, where they attended
Susanna Wesley Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Sandi and Bill Rapp of
Lawrence, Becky and Ken Shultz of Neodesha, and Debbie and Bill Miller of
Topeka; one brother, Wilbur Mosiman of Newton; seven grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Elsie Mosiman and
Ruth Balzer; and two brothers, Reuben and Fred Mosiman.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Petersen
Funeral Home in Newton, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First
Church of the Nazarene in Newton with the Rev. David Watson and Pastor Charles
West presiding. Burial will follow in Whitewater Cemetery.
