Obituary
Freddie Mosiman, Jr. died on Sunday (April 4, 2010) at
Asbury Park Healthcare Center.
Freddie was born on July 22, 1923, in rural Elbing to Fred
and Mary Mosiman. They preceded him in death.
Freddie was married to Ruth Winkle until her death in May of
2006.
They were long-term members of the First Missionary Church
in Newton.
Freddie was a farmer and worked at Cessna Aircraft
Industries. He raised cattle and hogs, and farmed.
He also drove truck.
He is survived by his children, daughter Goyia Riddiough of
Wichita; son LeRoy Mosiman of Peabody; son Fred Mosiman of Wichita; daughter
Laurie and Gregg Harris of Jefferson City, Mo.; brother Wilber Mosiman of
Newton; sister Wilma Jean Motter of Topeka; 11 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; daughter
Norma Gritz; brother Reuben Mosiman; sisters Ruth Balzer and Elsie Mosiman; and
two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First
Missionary Church Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m.
Thursday, with the family present from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Petersen Funeral
Home in Newton.

Church Building Fund in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
