Obituary
Retired Lt. Col. James Edmund Vetter, U.S. Army, died
Tuesday (April 20, 2010).
Jim was born on Sept. 27, 1932, in Newton .
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Helen
(Endres) Vetter, and a brother, Maurice.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Ferguson),
formerly of Wichita; his sister, Patricia Randall, and brother Gerald Vetter,
both of Newton; sons, Christopher (Ada), David and Terrence (Christine);
daughter, Elizabeth Ann; and five grandchildren.
Inurnment will be Friday in the National Cemetery in
Atlanta, Ga.
