Armin Samuelson
Obituary
Armin O. Samuelson, 91, died Saturday
(Sept. 23, 2017) at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. He was born Oct. 14,
1925, in Topeka, the son of Otto and Althea Schmidt Samuelson.
He was in the first group of students
who were selected to participate in the International Farm Youth
Exchange Program, served as a 4-H Club Agent, was involved in Harvey
County Rural Life and a member of the Hesston United Methodist
Church. On June 22, 1952, he married Ellen Banman at Centralia.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen
Samuelson of Hesston; his children: Jayne (Ron) Heller of Hunter, Ron
Samuelson of Fresno, California, Eric (Julie) Samuelson of Overland
Park and Mark (Kim) Samuelson of Conway, Arkansas; nine
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister,
Jayne Phelps Schalk.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2017) at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston, with
family present from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday (Sept. 27, 2017) at Hesston United Methodist Church,
Hesston. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Topeka Cemetery,
1601 S.E. 10th Ave, Topeka, KS.
Memorials may be sent to the Hesston
United Methodist Church, Prairie View Mental Health Center or Kansas
4-H Foundation. in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston.
