Laura J. (Lucas) Garnica
BARD, Calif. - Laura J. (Lucas) Garnica, 71, of Bard,
Calif., died Saturday (Jan. 2, 2010).
She was born on Sept. 11, 1938, in Woodward, Okla.
She married the Rev. John Garnica Sr. on April 26, 1986, in
Newton.
Other survivors include a step-daughter, Tammy Kennedy; and
a step-son, John Garnica Jr.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lucas, and
her mother, Gertrude Lucas.
The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Bard
Church of the Nazarene in Bard, with her husband officiating. Burial will be in
Woodward.
