K.C. McFarlane, a retired corporate
real estate executive, entered into eternal rest on Friday (May 27,
2011).
K.C. was a founding member and director
of the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives
(NACORE). For 35 years, he worked and managed real-estate programs
with Conoco and Champlin Oil Company, retiring in 1986. K.C. was a
member of the Scottish Clans of North Texas and the Champlin
Association of Retired Managers.
Having worked for oil companies that
moved personnel frequently, K.C. was an active member of six
protestant Churches in his lifetime. He was a member of First
Presbyterian Church for the past 25 years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years,
Lee McFarlane; son, Doug McFarlane and wife, Terri, of Burleson;
daughter, Danna Addison and husband, Gary, of Benbrook;
grandchildren, Heather Scott and husband, Michael, Jessica Dishman
and David McFarlane; great-grandchild, Haleigh Scott; brother, Jim
McFarlane of Newton; sisters, Eleanor Sadowski of Holten, Jo Gheen of
Redding, Calif., and Ann Brooks of Newton. He was preceded in death by siblings,
Jack McFarlane and Kay Brown.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m.
Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, 1000 Penn St., Fort Worth,
