Alvina Hall
WICHITA -- Alvina Hall, 86, retired
employee of Cessna Aircraft Company, died Sunday (Jan. 18, 2004) at
Presbyterian Manor in Wichita. She was born March 14, 1917, to John
S. and Maria (Ewert) Unruh in Newton. They preceded her in death. She
married Ray Gillmore Sept. 17, 1935, in Newton. He preceded her in
death April 16, 1965. She married Ira R. Hall July 2, 1966, in
Wichita. He survives. She was a member of Grace Hill Mennonite Church
in rural Newton. Survivors include: three sons, Glen Gillmore of
Manhattan, Donald Gillmore of Cheney and Marlin E Gillmore of
Houston; a sister, Grace Nickel of North Newton; 10 grandchildren;
and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today
with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Petersen Funeral
Home.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m.
Wednesday at Grace Hill Mennonite Church with Pastor James Voth
officiating.
Burial will be in Grace Hill Mennonite
Cemetery in rural Whitewater.
Memorials have been established with
the Presbyterian Manor Good Samaritan Fund and Harry Hines Hospice,
both in care of the funeral home.
