Margaret Warren Sico
Margaret Warren Sico, 66, passed away Sept. 9, 2009, of
injuries sustained in an accident while vacationing in Kerrville, Texas. Maggie
was born on March 18, 1943, in San Jose, Calif., the daughter of Clarence and
Frieda Warren. The family later moved to Halstead, where she graduated from
high school in 1961. She was the niece of the late Paul and Feodora Mueller and
the late Henry and Helen Will. Following high school, Maggie attended Kansas
State University and later graduated with a degree in accounting from the
University of Texas in 1983. Following graduation, she worked in the accounting
departments of Diamond Shamrock Co. and Maxus Energy in Dallas.
Maggie married James Sico in 1986. She gleefully retired in
2005 to pursue her hobbies, which included horseback riding and sailing. She
always loved the outdoors and traveling, and was always interested in seeing
new places and meeting new people.
She loved being a second mother and grandmother to her
husband's children and grandchildren and truly enjoyed the company of good
friends. She will be missed by those who knew her.
Maggie is survived by her husband, Jim, of McKinney, Texas;
children, Judy Jones of Grand Prairie, Texas, Craig and Barbara Sico of Corpus
Christi, Texas, and Clinton and Beverly Sico of Pasadena, Calif.; her brothers,
Sam Warren of San Diego, William and Linda Warren of Irving, Texas, and Michael
and Roberta Warren of Newport, R.I.; five granddaughters; one
great-granddaughter; one niece; and many cousins and other members of the
extended Mueller family from the Halstead area.
