Audrey Virginia King
Audrey Virginia King, 87, went to be with the Lord Sunday
(Sept. 27, 2009).
She was born on April 3, 1922, in Lysander, N.Y., to
Clarence H. and Florence (Whipple) Whitmore. She was the eldest of 12 children.
She was proud to be a charter member of Newton Christian
Church and a member of the Harvey County AAMA.
Audrey loved her family, friends and her Lord. She enjoyed
life in Florida and was quite a sight riding her bicycle.
She is survived by her children, Richard, Ernest and Janice;
stepchildren, James, William, Susan and Loretta; five brothers; three sisters;
and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; one son,
Bruce; one stepson, Robert; and three sisters.
The family requests memorial contributions be sent to Newton
Christian Church.
