Henry K. Wiens
Henry K. Wiens, 82, died Tuesday (Nov. 10, 2009) at Memorial
Home.
He was born on July 9, 1927, in Gray County to Jacob B. and
Carrie Koehn Wiens.
He was a machinest at Hesston Corp. for more than 30 years.
He married Gladys Holdeman on Sept. 21, 1962, in Hesston.
She survives of Moundridge.
Other survivors include sons, Dale (Sara) Wiens of Arthur,
Ill., David (Marlene) Wiens of Hesston and Warren (Kathy) Wiens of Newton;
daughter, Cynthia (John) Holdeman of Louisville, Ga.; two brothers, Edward
Wiens of Pampa, Texas, and Alvin Wiens of Manhattan; five sisters, Susanna
Unruh, Clara Wiens, Irene Koehn, Alma Wiens and Velma Wiens, all of Montezuma;
and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday at Moundridge
Funeral Home in Moundridge and from 6 to 7:30 p.m at Meridian Church of God in
Christ, Mennonite, in rural Hesston.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Meridian
Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice
in care of the funeral home.
