Leland R. Hiebert
Leland R. "Lee" Hiebert, 63,
died Friday (May 27, 2005) at Sedgwick Health Care Center in
Sedgwick.
He was born to Leonard and Bertha S.
(Janzen) Hiebert of Walton. His parents preceded him in death. He
attended school and graduated from Walton High School. He worked for
years and retired as a mechanic from Epp's Garage in Elbing. He
enjoyed pheasant hunting and fishing at the lake. He liked all kinds
of sports, especially the Boston Celtics.
Survivors include: two brothers, LaVern
Hiebert of Walton and Jerry Hiebert of Newton; a son, Duane Hiebert
of Raymond, Neb.; two daughters, Sharolyn Carpenter of Walton and
Jolynn Lorimor of Hesston; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain
Peter Hartman officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with
Multiple Sclerosis in care of the funeral home.
