Obituary - Mrs. Carl Dillman
HALSTEAD - Mrs. Marie Dillman, 82, died Wednesday at the Halstead Nursing Center after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Kaufman Funeral Home. Dr. Cecil R. Findley will officiate and burial will be in Halstead Cemetery.
Calling time at the funeral home will be prior to services.
A memorial fund has been established at 1st United Methodist Church of Halstead, of which she was a member.
Mrs. Dillman was born June 9, 1889 in Harvey County and was a lifelong resident of the Halstead - Newton area.
She married Carl Dillman in 1909. He died in 1954.
Survivors include a son, Loy of Halstead; 2 daughters, Mrs. Gladys Spain and Mrs. Jim (Helen) Corbin of Wichita; 1 brother, Adolph Berger of Oklahoma City; 3 sisters, Mrs. Hattie Tipton of Kalispell, Mont., Mrs. Elizabeth Walker, of Manhattan and Mrs. Barbara Burlingame of Wichita; 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Another son, Melvin (Bud) Dillman died March 25 of this year.
