HESSTON -- Prisca G. Bachman, 95, of Schowalter Villa, formerly of 309 Allison, Newton, died Saturday (Feb. 9, 1991) at Schowalter Villa. She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday at First Mennonite Church, Newton, with the Revs. James Dunn and Verney Unruh officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 7, 1896 in Moundridge, the daughter of Valentine and Mary (Dester) Krehbiel. On June 18, 1919, she married Ernest Bachman in Moundridge. He died Feb. 19, 1985. She was a member of First Mennonite Church and was a lifelong Moundridge and Newton area resident.
Survivors include two sons, Donovan Bachman of rural Newton and Dale Bachman of Newton; three daughters, Florene Wiens and Kathryn Penner, both of Newton, and Elaine Goertzen of rural Hillsboro; 19 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p. m. today and all day Tuesday at Petersen's Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Schowalter Villa.
