Vada Niehaus
HESSTON -- Vada Niehaus, 101, teacher,
died Saturday (Oct. 14, 2000) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston. She was
born Nov. 22, 1898, to Melvin and Jennie (Peterson) Howell in Ottawa.
They preceded her in death. She married Clarence Niehaus June 30,
1926, in Ottawa. He preceded her in death in 1973.
She was a member of Hesston United
Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters,
Valeta Parmely of Leroy and Jennie Niehaus of Pittsburg; and two
grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11 a. m.
Tuesday at Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston with the Revs. Ron Rich
and Beverly Baumgartner officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in
Ottawa at a later date.

Schowalter Villa and Union Chapel Church in Ottawa in care of Miller
Funeral Home of Hesston, 107 S. Lancaster Ave.
