Her many volunteer activities included the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, a committee woman for the Republican Party and serving as a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital in Wellington.

Helen was known for her thoughtfulness, compassion and her ability to establish rapport with everyone she met. She always greeted people with a smile and a compliment. She will be long remembered by friends, family and the many she touched with her generous spirit.
