Obituary
Victor Andrew Solis, 56, died Thursday
(Jan. 4, 2018) at this home in Newton.
He was born in Newton on Oct. 19, 1961,
the son of John Reyes and Adelaida Rangel Solis. A lifelong resident,
Victor graduated from Newton High School in 1979.
Through the years, Victor had worked at
several area restaurants. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces
and nephews. He was a big music fan and he loved to dance.
Survivors include his brother, Robert
M. Solis; and sister, Annie L. Martinez, both of Newton.
He is preceded in death by parents;
brother, John Antonio Solis; niece, Angelina A. Martinez; and nephew,
Nathan A. Martinez.
The family will greet friends between 6
and 7 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 9, 2017) at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
Private inurnment will take place in
St. Mary's Cemetery in Newton.
