Ruby Bazil
Obituary
Ruby L. Bazil passed away peacefully at
home on Dec. 30, 2017, following a brief illness. Ruby was born and
raised in Newton, where she met and married her husband, Robert
Daniel Bazil. They were married on Aug. 24, 1942, and remained
happily married until his passing.
Ruby enjoyed card games, crossword
puzzles, reading, movies, walking her dog, Mazie, and spending time
with her family and friends. Ruby was a loving and caring mother,
grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a long-time resident of
Huntington Beach, California, since 1947.
Preceding Ruby in death were her
parents and beloved husband.
She is survived by her children:
Roderick Bazil, Pamela Haynes and her husband Eric, and Debra
Sillasen and her husband Doug; grandchildren: Denise Jorgensen, Tara
Edwards, Ryan Sillasen, Taylor Haynes, Justin Sillasen and Jenna
Sillasen; and great-grandchildren: Ella Jorgensen, Brooklyn
Jorgensen, Hannah Jorgensen, Tucker Jorgensen and Emma Edwards.
Celebration of Life Services will be
held at 10 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 10, 2018) at First Christian Church,
1207 Main St., Huntington Beach, CA 92648, and she will be laid to
rest at Westminster Memorial Park following the service.
