Marlin R. Vogt
MOUNDRIDGE - Marlin R. Vogt, 82, died
Saturday (July 28, 2007) at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. He was born
on July 8, 1925, in McPherson County to Jonas H. and Anna (Kaufman)
Vogt. He was a lifetime Moundridge area resident. He graduated from
Moundridge High School in 1943. On Dec. 13, 1958, he married Sylvia
M. Reusser in North Newton. She survives at home. He was a farmer and
a member of Eden Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge. Survivors
include a son, Royce Vogt of Harper; daughters, Cindy Anderson of
Albuquerque, N.M. and Deanne Loganbill of Moundridge; a brother,
Weldon Vogt of Hesston; sisters, Letha Ediger of Inman, Ellen Stucky,
Evelyn Goering and Marge Kaufman, all of Moundridge and Velma Nuefeld
of Richfield, Minn.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday at Moundridge Funeral Home with family present from 6 to 8
p.m.
Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
at Eden Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge with Pastor David
Stevens and Pastor Gail Graber officiating. Burial will be at Eden
Church Cemetery in rural Moundridge.
