Weldon H. Vogt
HESSTON - Weldon H. Vogt, 91, died Dec.
12, 2011, at Schowalter Villa. He was born Nov. 24, 1920, to Jonas H.
and Anna Kaufman Vogt in McPherson County.
He was a farmer and truck driver. He
married Esther Stucky April 24, 1945, at Moundridge. She died May 6,
2008. Survivors include: a son, Wayne K. (Chris) Vogt of Hesston;
daughter, Sheryl Plenert of Hesston; sisters, Ellen (Alfred) Stucky
and Margie Kaufman, all of Moundridge, and Velma (Jim) Neufeld of
Richfield, Minn.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Friday at
10:15 a.m. in Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery, followed by a memorial
service at 11 a.m. at Eden Mennonite Church. Visitation will be
Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at
Moundridge Funeral Home. Memorial donations are suggested to Eden
Mennonite Church, in care of the funeral home.
