Virginia J. Sanderson, 60, Shawnee,
died May 18, 1994, in Lenexa. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at
the United Methodist Church, De Soto in Johnson County; burial in
Silent City Cemetery, De Soto. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m.
today at the church. The family suggests contributions to the Keith
Worthington ALS
Association. Mrs. Sanderson was born in
Newton, Kan., and lived in this area for 35 years. She was a
bookkeeper for the Special-T-Metals Co. for seve n years. She
formerly served on the Shawnee Historical Society board. She was a
volunteer for the Keith Worthington ALS
Association. Survi- vors include a son,
Michael Sanderson, De Soto in Johnson County; three daughters,
Kathleen Ross and Marietta Bichelmeyer of De Soto and Denise Jones,
Overland Park; her mother, Emma Gaiser, and a sister, Barbara Thomas,
both of Newton; and nine grandchildren.
