Glenn Yoder
Obituary
Glenn A. Yoder, 66, passed away on
Friday (Jan. 26, 2018). He was born on Feb. 22, 1951, in Newton to
Fred and Colleen (Regier) Yoder.
Glenn loved to be outdoors and was an
avid hunter and fisherman, along with being a jack of all trades. He
was always involved with cattle production throughout his life, from
being a cattle buyer to working on a farm/ranch, then to owning his
own feed store for a time. He would also always have a few head
around the farm to keep him occupied.
Glenn also had another passion in his
life and that was helping his community by being a volunteer
firefighter for the Peabody Volunteer Fire Department for 20-plus
years.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, Fred and Colleen Yoder.
He is survived by his wife, Koni; two
sisters, Tammie (Butch) Suffield of Peabody and Teresa Maples of
Valley Center; sons: Jeremy (Bobbi) Yoder of Elgin Oklahoma, and Eric
(Kim) Yoder of Great Bend; and two stepdaughters, Heather (Mike)
LaRue of El Dorado and Ashley Miller of Peabody. He is also survived
by eight grandchildren; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m.
Saturday (Feb. 3, 2018) at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of
flowers, all memorials will be given to the Peabody Fire Department
to upgrade equipment.
