Mildred L. Vogts

MOUNDRIDGE -- Mildred L. Vogts, 87, died today (March 2, 2004) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston. She was born Oct. 8, 1916, to George and Giralda (Buehler) Vogts in McPherson County. She was a lifetime Moundridge resident. She was a former employee of Axtell Hospital in housekeeping and she worked 39 years as a wallpaper hanger. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Moundridge. Survivors include: two half-brothers, Merle Vogts of Kansas City, Mo., and William Vogts of Canton; a half-sister, Berniece Wilson of Liberal.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Stother.

Visitation will be from noon to 7 p. m. Wednesday at Moundridge Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 11 a. m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Moundridge with Deacon Gary Bachlor officiating.

Burial will be in Mound Township Cemetery in Moundridge.

Memorials have been established with L.L.L. Hour in care of the funeral home, 115 E. Cole, Box 410, Moundridge, KS. 67107.
