Rea Milton Martin
Rea Milton Martin passed away Tuesday (June 2, 2009) at the
age of 88.
He was born Aug. 19, 192 in Neodesha.
He was a resident of Kansas Christian Home in Newton for
five years, and formerly a longtime resident of Wichita.
Rea is survived by two daughters; Phyllis M. McCune of
Wichita and Patricia A. Martin of Newton; one son, Vernon Ray Martin of Olathe,
nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A special thank-you to the Good Shepherd Hospice for the
tender loving care given there.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Resthaven
Cemetery, 11800 W. U.S. Highway 54, Wichita.
Rea was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and his pallbearers will
be members of the Color Guard.
