Marlo P. Graber
Marlo P. Graber, 86, died Thursday (June 4, 2009) at Newton
Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 27, 1922, in Moundridge, the youngest son
of Chris C. and Maria Graber. On Sept. 8, 1944, he married Edna Ruth Goertzen
of Newton, who survives him. He also is survived by five children, Carolyn
Trout and husband, Tom, of Joplin, Mo., Dale Graber and wife, Sharon, of
Waterford, Va., Dean Graber and wife, Barbara, of Goodland, Steve Graber and
wife, Cindy, of Dodge City, and Vonnie Moden and husband, Doug, of Colorado
Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren, Marissa Hawkins of Colorado Springs, Morgan
Graber of Waterford, Holly Graber of Dodge City, and Christian Moden of
Colorado Springs; one sister, Lorene Goering of Moundridge; and numerous
nephews and nieces.
He was proceded in death by daughter, Ruthie Hawkins, and
grandson, Joel Graber.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moundridge
Funeral Home in Moundridge. The family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Graveside service will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Garden
Community Church Cemetery in rural Hesston, followed by a memorial service at
10:30 a.m. at the church.
