Elvin E. Schrag
Elvin E. Schrag, 78, died Friday (June 5, 2009) at Newton
Medical Center. He was born on Sept. 26, 1930, in Halstead to Edward P. and
Martha Goering Schrag. He was a farmer. He married Neva Kaufman on June 6,
1950, in Moundridge. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Steven
Schrag of Bartlesville, Okla., and Tim (Amy) Schrag of Moundridge; two
daughters, Carol (Dan) Zerger of Moundridge and Pat (Gordon) Reimer of
McPherson; two sisters, Veralynn Goering of
Galva and Shirley (Mervin) Schrag of Hesston; four grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at
Moundridge Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at 10:30
a.m. at Eden Mennonite Church in Moundridge.
Memorial donations may be given to Eden Mennonite Church or
the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
