Elvira Buller
Elvira Buller, 80, school teacher and
secretary, died Sunday (Sept. 17, 2000) at Kidron Bethel Health Care.
She was born Jan. 24, 1920, to Henry and Mary Richert in Goessel.
They preceded her in death. She married Leonard Buller Jan. 22, 1950,
in Newton. He survives. She was a member of First Mennonite Church of
Newton where she was a member of the Christian Homemaker Sunday
School Class and Mission Study Circle. She graduated from Newton High
School and attended Bethel College before graduating from the Kansas
State Teachers College in Emporia in 1942. She was a school teacher
and a secretary, working in San Francisco, Hutchinson and Newton. She
worked for Speir, Stroberg and Sizemore Law office in Newton prior to
her marriage. From 1968 to 1982 she was a secretary for Prairie View
Mental Health Hospital.
Other survivors include: two sons, John
Buller of Crowley, Texas, and Paul Buller of Newton.
She was preceded in death by two
brothers, Dan Richert and Rolin Richert.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p. m.
Tuesday and 9 a.m. To 9 p. m. Wednesday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10 a. m.
Thursday at First Mennonite Church with pastors Verney Unruh and
Rusty Bonham officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with
Kidron Bethel Health Care and Central Homecare and Hospice in care of
the funeral home.
