Larry Raskopf Sr.
Obituary
Larry L. Raskopf Sr. died Sunday (Feb.
4, 2018) at Kansas Christian Home. He was born Nov. 29, 1940, to Leo
and Katherine Raskopf in Ness City.
Larry graduated from Ness City High
School and Wichita Business College. He was Office and Credit Manager
for Walton Co-op for 23 years and really enjoyed his work with
farmers. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, raising cattle and was
well known for his love of gardening with his wife.
On Oct. 9, 1961, Larry married Glenda
K. Wilkinson; she survives in Washington. They had three children:
Larry Jr. (Paula), Jeffrey and Michelle Wonders (Mike); five
grandchildren: Ashley Crider (Garrett), Karissa Wonders, Kami
Wonders, Kendra Raines (Tom) and John Raskopf; and six
great-grandchildren: Bently, Corbin and Chloe Crider, and Katherine,
Abbygail, and Laura Ranies. Larry is also survived by a sister, Kay
Paff of McCracken, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his
parents; son, Jeffrey; and sisters: Vivian Conner of Missouri, and
Rita Leiker and Nancy Snodgrass, both of Ness City.
Family gathered privately to honor
