Irma Schrag
Obituary
Irma M. Schrag, 86, died Sunday (Feb.
18, 2018) at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. She was born Sept. 11, 1931,
in Buhler to Jacob M. and Mary (Ratzlaff) Siemens. Irma graduated
from Buhler High School. She retired from Schowalter Villa as a
housekeeper.
In 1955, she married LaVerne Schrag in
Buhler. He died Feb. 11, 1966.
Irma is survived by sons, James A. and
wife Diane Schrag of Newton and Ronnie D. and wife Pam of Moundridge;
two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; two infant brothers; brothers, Eldon, Abe and Herbert; one
infant grandson; and granddaughter, Sarah Kay Schrag.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday (Feb. 21, 2018) at Eden Mennonite Church. Private family
burial will take place. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday
(Feb. 20, 2018), with family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at
Moundridge Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to Good Shepherd Hospice or Good Samaritan Fund at Schowalter
Villa, in care of Moundridge Funeral Home.
