Alice M. Holinde
NEWTON - Alice M. Holinde, 61, died March 16, 2009,
at her residence in Newton. She was born on Feb. 2, 1948, the daughter of
Volney and Eula Evarts.
On Oct. 1, 1972, she married Steve Holinde. He
survives. Other survivors include: sons, Kevin and Ryan; daughter, Shelly
Coover; sisters, Joyce Mitchell, Virginia Finney; stepsisters, Nola Durham and
Sonja Pendergraft; and grandchildren, Zachary Holinde and Sophie and Leyton
Coover. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Virgil Evarts.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at
the Church of the Brethren, Newton. Arrangements were handled by Petersen
Funeral Home, Newton.
