Jacqueline Marie 'Jackie'
Haas, 47, of Tulsa, Okla., died Tuesday (Feb. 17, 2009) at the home of her aunt
in North Newton. Jackie was born on March 6, 1961, in Hays, the daughter of
Vernon and Patricia Breit Haas. The family had lived in Chamberlain, S.D.;
Wray, Colo.; and Sterling, Colo. until moving to Burlington, Colo., where she
graduated from high school. She later graduated from Benedictine College in
Atchison. She moved to Claremore, Okla., and later to Tulsa, where Jackie worked
for many years at Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medicare.
Survivors include her father,
Vernon Haas of Fort Morgan, Colo.; one brother, Robert Haas of Loveland, Colo.;
two sisters, JoAn Price of Leesburg, Va., and Francie Young of Fort Morgan; her
aunt, Joan Breit of North Newton; and her longtime companion, Larry Gullette of
the home in Tulsa.
Jackie was preceded in death
by her mother.
Memorial services will be
conducted later as cremation has been effected.
