Bridgette H.M. Lee
Bridgette H.M. Lee, 58, of Newton died
Sunday (Oct. 23, 2005).
Mrs. Lee was born Bridgette Helen Marie
Overton Dec. 22, 1946, in Colby. She worked as an evangelistic
minister, serving for more than 30 years.
Survivors include: a daughter, Lorraine
Smith and husband Rusty of Newton; a brother, Alan E. Overton and
wife Mary of Canton; two sisters, Carolyn O'Quin and husband Doug of
Sunray, Texas, and Evelyn Keith and husband Mack of Hot Springs
Village, Ark.; three grandchildren, Tyler and Hunter Smith and Amber
Klock; three aunts, Martha Lantz, Rhoda Kennedy and Iva Farmer, all
of Salina; and an uncle, Robert Smith of Cawker City.
Funeral services will be 10 a. m.
Friday at the New Life Assembly of God Church, 818 Washington Road,
in Newton with the Rev. Roger Scantlin and Rev. Jim Rauley
officiating.
Interment will follow in the Kechi
Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m.
Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina, KS. 67401.
The casket will remain open until the time of service Friday at the
church in Newton.
Memorials are with Gideon's
International and the Josiah and Bethany Children's Home in Raynosa,
Mexico, in care of the funeral home.
