Jo Lynne Evans
Jo Lynne Evans, 42, died
Thursday (Jan. 15, 2009). She was born on Nov. 5, 1966, in Pratt, the daughter
of Molly C. (Doty) and husband, Robert Likins, and her father, Willard S.
McKee. She resided in Newton with her husband, Ernest E. Evans. Jo loved riding
motorcycles and playing bingo. She also enjoyed playing computer games and made
many friends. When she wasn't making people laugh, she was quietly crocheting.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony Scott Evans and Timothy E. Evans, both of
Newton; granddaughter, Cassie Nicole Evans; brothers, Bobby Likins and Patrick
Likins, both of Pennsylvania; sisters, Dixie C. Jones of Pratt and Lisa D.
Fisher of Springfield, Mo.
She was preceded in death by
her maternal grandmother, Nellie Doty; her paternal grandfather, Cash Doty; and
her stepgrandfather, Leroy Doty.
A memorial service will be at
10 a.m. Monday at the American Legion Club in Newton.
