Arlene J. Rempel
Arlene J. Rempel, 76, died Friday (Dec. 5, 2008) at
Newton Medical Center.
She was born on Aug. 10, 1932, in Peabody to Jacob
and Anna (Seibel) Goentzel.
On Sept. 28, 1951, she married Lee Rempel. He
survives of Peabody.
She was a homemaker.
Other survivors include a son, David Rempel and
wife, Jody, of Peabody; a daughter, Joleen Lyons and husband, Mark, of Newton;
and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis
Goentzel.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Baker
Funeral Home, 114 N. Sycamore St. in Peabody.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Peabody
United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Ragland officiating.
A private family interment will be conducted.
Memorial contributions may be made to Peabody United
Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
