Diana Kristine 'Kris' Davis
Diana Kristine Davis, 58 of Newton, formerly of New
Cambria, Mo., died Saturday (Dec. 20, 2008) at Pershing Memorial Hospital in
Brookfield, Mo.
Kris was born on Oct. 4, 1950, in Brookfield to
Howard Francis White Sr. and Rosemary (Arnold) White.
She married Roland Gene Davis on Sept. 15, 1979, in
New Cambria, and he survives of the home in Newton.
Kris was a homemaker and member of the Christian
Church in Newton and a resident of Newton for 11 years.
She also is survived by three brothers, Robert Steve
White Sr., Howard F. 'Skipper' White Jr., both of Marceline, and Harold L.
White of Fort Madison, Iowa; one sister, Mary Ann Plank of Huntsville, Mo.;
many nieces and nephews; and beloved cousin, Anita Faber of Marceline.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline, Mo., with the Rev. Mary Ellen Waychoff
officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Marceline.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the
funeral home in Marceline.
Pallbearers will be Cliff Techau, David Akins,
Adrain Plank, Jim Hogenson, Rick Davidson and Eldon Jones.
