Mary H. Keller
Mary H. Keller, 60, passed away on Dec. 20, 2008, at
her home.
She was born on March 27, 1948, in Newton, the
daughter of Layne Bruce and Freda Louise Lawson Lairmore. Mary married Jon R.
Keller on Aug. 29, 1970, in Newton.
She helped establish Great Bend Daycare before going
back to school to finish her teaching degree, later teaching at Washington
Elementary in Great Bend before retiring with USD 501 in Topeka. She was a
member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Great Bend. Mary was
a resident of Topeka since 1983, coming from Great Bend.
Survivors include: her husband, Jon of Topeka; sons,
John Layne Keller and wife Aleasha Dawn and Jared Douglas Keller, all of
Topeka; a daughter, Jessica Ann Davis and husband Andy, Shawnee; sisters, Marty
Anderson, Galena, Md., and Jeanie Jennings and husband Terry, Newton; and four
grandchildren, John Hayden Keller, Jackson Layne Keller, Sydney Catherine Davis
and Aaron Scott Davis.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Graveside services were Tuesday at Hillcrest
Memorial Park in Great Bend.
