Gladys P. Crissey
Gladys P. Crissey, 76, 3001 Ivy Drive,
Kidron Bethel Village, died Tuesday (Dec. 31, 1996) at Newton Medical
Center.
She was born Feb. 15, 1920, in
Youngstown, Ohio, to Fred and Mary Butterly Vogel. She married Robert
L. Crissey Sr. on Aug. 11, 1958, in Chicago. He preceded her in death
in 1962.
She was a mmeber of the Newton Assembly
of God Church and worked as a volunteer for several years at Bethel
Health Care Centre while a resident at Kidron Bethel Village in North
Newton. Prior to retirement, she worked for Windsor House – OMNI
Manor Nursing Home in Ohio.
Survivors include one son, Robert L.
Crissey of Franklin, Tenn.; and one sister, Marion Prout of Boardman,
Ohio. She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Christopher; a
brother, Ed Joseph; and a sister, Dorothy Auld.
Memorial services for the family will
be at the Newton Assembly of God Church with the Rev. John Hubbard
officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in
Cleveland. Friends may call from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. Friday at
Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
