Lyle O. Golden
Lyle O. Golden, 66, passed
away Sunday (Nov. 2, 2008) at his residence in Newton.
He was born Jan. 1, 1942, in
Durand, Wis., to Orville Jospeh and Hazel (Harshman) Golden. They preceded him
in death.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife,
Julie A. (Runte) Golden of Newton; daughters, Nanatte and John Groves of
Nevada, Mo., Sylvia and Melvin Williams of Hutchinson and Tabatha Golden of
West Virginia; sister, Lavonne Olney of Newton; and 11 grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death
by three brothers.
Graveside service will be at
1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Herrington, with Chaplain Barbara
Lee officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital in care of Petersen
Funeral Home in Newton, which is in charge of arrangements.
