Lena K. Isaac
Lena K. Isaac, 86, of Hesston
died Friday (Oct. 24, 2008) at her residence. She was born June 1, 1922, in
Meade County to Peter F. and Katherine (Cornelson) Isaac. She had been a
missionary and cook, and was a member of Garden Community Church. Survivors
include many nieces and nephews in the United States and Canada. She was
preceded in death by brothers Abe, Pete, Henry, Corny, John and Jake; and
sisters Maggie, Katherine, Anna and Margaret. Visitation will be from 4 to 7
p.m. Sunday at Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston.
Services will be at 10:30
a.m. Monday at Garden Community Church, five miles west of Hesston, with Pastor
Greg Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Garden Community Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be
made to AVANT or Evangelical Missions Ministries in Pharr, Texas, in care of
Miller Funeral Home in Hesston.
