Lillian Paul
Lillian Paul, 99, died Friday
(Oct. 24, 2008) at Clairebridge Nursing Home in Topeka. She was born on Feb. 6,
1909, in Roswell, N.M., the daughter of Amelia (Kirste) and Edward Malacky.
They preceded her in death. On Oct. 13, 1934, she married Ralph Paul in
Wichita. He died on March 9, 1997. Lillian was a friend to everyone she knew.
She was a homemaker most of her life, tending to her husband and their home.
She worked in retail for some time and retired from Graber's Ace Hardware.
Survivors include a sister,
Bobbie McIntosh of California, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in
death by her sisters, Jan Pierce and Clare Spillers; and brothers, Art, Edward
and Otto Malacky.
Visitation will be from 9 to
10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton.
Graveside services will on at
11 a.m. Tuesday at Restlawn Gardens of Memory in Newton with Chaplain Peter
Hartman presiding.
Memorials may be sent to the
American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
