Anna Ruth Rude
Anna Ruth Rude, 76, passed
away Sunday (Oct. 26, 2008) at Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson.
She was born March 2, 1932, in Huntsville, Ark., the daughter of Walter and
Bessie Madison Bingham. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of the
Burrton/Wichita areas, living in Buhler since July. She married Bill Grow. She
later married Richard Welliver. On Oct. 18, 1985, she married Warren Rude in
Newton. He passed away on Dec. 30, 2006. Survivors include four sons, Charles
Gayle Grow of Potosi, Mo., Jimmy Wilford Grow of Canton, Michael Walter Grow of
Wichita and Jimmie Lee Welliver of Hutchinson; a brother, Richard Bingham of
Burrton; and seven sisters, Hazel VanHorn of Tulsa, Okla., Virginia Milner of
Deerfield, Ohio, Margaret Keith of Chickasha, Okla., Katie Graber of Burrton,
Sue Maxell of Buhler, Sherry McCandless of Burrton and Linda Coiner of
Hastings, Neb.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
three brothers, Charles Walter Bingham, Buddy Lee Bingham and Larry Gene
Bingham; and a sister, Peggy Ralston.
Memorial services will be at
a later date. The body has been donated to science.
