Dorothy L. Cline
Dorothy L. Cline, 93, passed
away peacefully on Friday (Sept. 12, 2008) in Newton. She was born March 16,
1915, in Marion. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother and a well-known
retired cosmetologist. Preceding her in death were her husband, N.R. Cline; her
parents; and a sister, Helen Stiller Morrison. She leaves to mourn her passing
two sons, J.D. (Connie) Cline of Peoria, Ariz., and Don Cline of Wichita; three
daughters, Elaine Cline of Olathe, Carolyn Dowd of The Dalles, Ore., and Luann
(Dale) Stanislaus of Overland Park; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren;
five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Homer (Hazel) Stiller of Newton.
Visitation will be from 4 to
8 p.m. today at Old Mission Mortuary, 3424 E. 21st St. in Wichita, with family
present from 6 to 8 p.m.
A celebration of her life
will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary, with interment at Old Mission
Cemetery.
