Lou Isla Belle Unruh
HESSTON - Lou Isla Belle
Unruh died July 31, 2008. She was born Sept. 5, 1922, in Albert the daughter of
Howard and Mildred Saurbaugh Cummings. She had worked for Kansas Power and
Light for 39 years in Great Bend.
Survivors include: a brother,
Artis Cummings, Jenison, Mich.; and two sisters, Louise Bird, Lenoir, N.C., and
Shirley Keim, Yakima, Wash. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond
Unruh, her parents, three brothers and a sister.
Graveside service 9:30 a.m.
Tuesday in Restlawn Garden of Memory, Newton. Memorial service 11 a.m. Tuesday
at Schowalter Villa Chapel, Hesston. Visitation 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday at
Miller Funeral Home, Hesston. Memorials to Mennonite Mission Network or
Mennonite Central Committee.
