Michael A. Espinoza
Michael A. Espinoza, 59, died
Thursday (July 31, 2008) at Hospice House Hutchinson. He was born April 6,
1949, the son of Abraham Espinoza and Delores Rioz. He attended school in
Newton. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad for 28 years. He married Felicitas
J. Mendoza. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Marcos A. Espinoza
and Nicholas M. Espinoza, both of Hutchinson; one daughter, Angela R.
Espinoza-Gideon; his mother, of Newton; three sisters, Antonia Espinoza of
Northridge, Calif., Anna Sanchez and Belinda Curiel and her husband Anthony of
Newton; 10 grandchildren, John Cox Jr., Amber Cox, Quarte Cox, Sommer McCammon,
Autumn McCammon, Jacob Espinoza, Jaden Espinoza, Tea Espinoza, Maria Espinoza
and Abraham Espinoza; one great grandchild, Damion Cox; and several aunts,
uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by
his father; two brothers, Danny and Marcos Espinoza, and a granddaughter, baby
Ava Espinoza.
Rosary will take place at
2:30 p.m. Monday with funeral mass at 3 p.m. Monday at St. Teresa's Catholic
Church in Hutchinson with Father Nicholas Voelker presiding. Visitation will be
from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services of
Hutchinson. Burial will take place at Fairlawn Burial Park of Hutchinson.
