Obituary
Peter "Shane" Gingrass passed
away Friday (April 20, 2018) at Grandview Medical Center in
Birmingham, Alabama. Shane was born July 23, 1965, in Wichita, to
Norman and Jennifer Gingrass and resided in Killen, Alabama.
Shane was a graduate of Sedgwick High
School, Class of 1983. He was a Project Scheduler for Southern
Company at Scherer Coal Facility in Macon, Georgia.
Shane was a proud, loving, hard-working
father and husband who was known to help anyone in need. His dogs
meant the world to him.
Shane is survived by his wife, Anne
Pelnar Gingrass of Killen, sons Anthony Pelnar and Joey Gingrass of
Evans, Georgia, parents Norman and Jennifer Gingrass of Chandler,
Arizona and sister Tara "Dawn" Sloan of Peoria, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his
grandparents, Harold Eshelman Gingrass, Gertrude Huebert Gingrass and
Claude E. Howard.
A Celebration of Life Party will be at
2 p.m. July 21, 2018, at his home in Killen, Alabama. At Shane's
request, the family asks that you please respect his wishes by not
sharing his obituary on social media.
Shane would be honored to have memorial
donations sent to the rescue organization that two of his dogs were
