Obituary
Irma I. Janzen, 95, passed away
Thursday (April 26, 2018) at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born
Dec. 24, 1921, in Oklahoma. She was the oldest daughter of Isaac and
Anna Androes. She was a homemaker and member of the First Mennonite
Church, Hutchinson. On June 15, 1947, she married Frank Janzen in
Newton. He passed away in January 1994.
She is survived by her children:
Rebecca (Bernard) Behrends and Steve (Toni) Janzen, all of Nebraska,
Ruth Hindman, Salina, and Dale (Della) Janzen, Hutchinson; 10
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert
(Evalena) Androes, Walton.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband, Frank; sons-in-law, Gerhard Niessen and Leslie
Hindman; grandson, Paul Hindman; sister, Linda, and brother-in-law,
Melvin Doming; and a brother, Walter, and sister-in-law, JoEllen
Androes.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m.
Tuesday (May 1, 2018) at First Mennonite Church, Hutchinson, with
Pastor Tonya Wenger presiding. Burial will follow at the Buhler
Township Cemetery. Friends may sign the book from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday (April 30, 2018) at Buhler Mortuary.
